About Wight Tea Co
Wight Tea Company is a woman-owned, gay-owned, and family-owned tea company based in Baltimore, MD. We craft flavor-focused, unique, and delicious tea blends that make every sip a memorable experience. We started our business in 2015 developing tea blends and launched our brand at a local artisan market in Spring 2016. Our teas and ingredients are sourced globally and then blended and packaged in Baltimore. Our teas are sold directly to our customers through our website and at pop-ups and farmers markets. We also sell wholesale to retail shops, specialty grocers, cafes, restaurants, bars, and more directly and through various 3rd party channels like Faire and Airgoods.
What your job is (Big Picture)
You are responsible for managing the house for our tea company and our daily operations.
Responsibilities include

Priority/project management

E-mail, calendar, scheduling, and filing

Planning meetings

Customer communications

Pre- and post-client meeting preparation and follow-up

CRM, email and list management
-
Website content updates

Additional responsibilities as needed
Requirements and skills
-
2+ years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or related, e.g., Operations Manager, Integrator, Project Manager

Excellent written and verbal communication

Technical and digital skills

High emotional IQ

Other Quick Notes
This is a 1099 contractor position where hours are flexible and you are able to work remotely.
Even though this is a remote position, we are looking for someone in the Baltimore to Mid-Atlantic region.
