I brewed this tea using a fine-mesh gold filter basket inside my teapot. Yes, there was a small amount of “sediment” in my teapot when I emptied it, but there was none in my mug.
A friend gave me Maryland Mint loose leaf tea. I was skeptical that I’d really taste the mint flavor, since the mint flavor of other teas I’ve tried has been nearly undetectable. But I could really taste this! Also, as described, there’s also a bit of sweet flavor, such that there’s no need to add sugar. I’m eager to try this as iced tea; I expect that it’ll be my new go-to for summer iced tea.
I've already had at least 4 cups of Maryland, Mint Tea by now. I must say that it tastes delicious -&- healthy!! It gives me a caffeine energy mentally. I just love how it tastes, and would love to try the other's, too soon. I love this product. Thanks, Wight Tea Company. 🙂🌿
While the flavor is lovely, the tea is really fine, which makes it hard to steep without a LOT of tea leaf parts getting into my final tea. I’ve used several different types of ways to steep, that I usually use with other loose leaf teas and still have quite an issue with this one. I really wish I didn’t have this issue because the tea is quite lovely. I likely wouldn’t order again though bc of the difficulty steeping without an excess of tea leaf particles.
This tea makes the perfect morning cup.
