This bamboo matcha whisk (called a chasen) is carved from natural white bamboo, with 120 thin prongs that whisk matcha and water into a smooth, foamy cup. It comes in a clear protective case to help it keep its shape between uses.

Care
Soak the prongs in warm water for a minute before whisking so they're flexible. Rinse with water after use (no soap), then let it dry upright on a whisk stand so it keeps its shape.

How is this different from the whisk in the Matcha Whisk Set?
This one has 120 prongs. The set's whisk has 100. More prongs make a finer, foamier froth.
Do I really need a bamboo whisk?
It makes the smoothest, frothiest matcha. A small battery-operated frother works otherwise.
